What we collect

• Your CV text, only while it is scored. We do not keep the file or the text.
• Your score, the role you chose, and your fixes. Fixes may quote a few lines of your CV.
• Your email address, if you sign in.
• Payment amount, date and PayFast reference. PayFast handles card details.
• A scrambled form of your IP address for 2 days, to limit abuse.
• Cookies for signing in and for opening your own unsaved result. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Giving us your CV is voluntary. Without it we cannot score it.

Why

To score your CV, run your account and take payment. We do not sell your information or use it to train AI models.

Who receives it

• Anthropic (United States): reads your CV text to score it.
• Supabase (Germany): stores accounts and results.
• Vercel (United States): hosts the site.
• PayFast (South Africa): takes payments.
• Google: only if you sign in with Google.

Your CV text and account details therefore leave South Africa. You agree to this when you tick the box before scoring.

How long we keep it

• Unsaved results: deleted within 48 hours.
• Saved results: until you delete them or your account.
• Payment records: kept without your name after you delete your account.

Your rights

Delete a score or your account on My scores. To see or correct your information, use the contact details in the footer. You can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
